A: Yes. Paint protection film can be applied to most smooth surfaces.
Q: WHAT IS THE EXPECTED LIFE OF BODYFENCE PPF ?
A: Bodyfence PPF has a lifetime warranty when installed by a Hexis Bodyfence certified installer. This warranty covers: yellowing, staining, delaminating, cracking, peeling, bubbling, and more.
Q: CAN I USE A DETAILING CLAY ON THE FILM ?
A: Yes. The process is the same as with regular paint: wet the surface with a lubricant such as soapy water and then gently rub the surface with the clay bar.
Q: HOW DO I MAINTAIN BODYFENCE PPF ?
A: No special maintenance is required Bodyfence PPF.
Q: CAN BODYFENCE PPF BE APPLIED TO CHROME ?
A: Yes Bodyfence PPF can be applied to chrome
Q: WILL BODYFENCE PPF TURN YELLOW ?
A: Bodyfence PPF has a lifetime warranty against a range of issues including yellowing

Q: WHAT IF MY BODYFENCE PPF GETS SCRATCHED ?
A: No need to worry Bodyfence PPF is self healing
Q: HOW DEEP OF A SCRATCH CAN FILM SELF HEAL ?
A: The clear coat is the self-healing layer and is approximately 13 microns thick. If that layer is penetrated, the film will not heal.
Q: DO YOU HAVE A FIRST TIME BUYER DISCOUNT ?
A: Not at this time, although we do offer discounts to Law enforcement, Teachers, Military, Doctors and Nurses.
Q: CAN I PURCHASE PRECUT FILM FOR MY VEHICLE ?
A: Yes, our pre-cut kits are available for sale just contact us. However, as installation can be quite difficult without previous experience or formal training, we recommend having installation performed by a certified installer.
Q: CAN BODYFENCE PPF BE INSTALLED ON YOUR WINDSHIELD ?
A: NO, Bodyfence PPF cannot be installed on your windshield. Due to the impact absorbency of paint protection film, the refractive index of the film is too different from that of the windshield. Because of this difference, putting the two together causes a distortion when looking through the glass that would be unacceptable to the vehicle’s occupants.
Q: WHAT IF MY INSTALLATION WAS DONE INCORRECTLY ?
A: It is always best to contact your installer first and explain your concerns. We do our best to stand behind our work.
Q: CAN I COVER MY WHOLE VEHICLE WITH BODYFENCE PPF ?
Yes. Most smooth painted surface can be covered with paint protection film.
Q: CAN I RUN MY CAR THROUGH AN AUTOMATIC CAR WASH ?
A: Yes, but please wait at least 48 hours after installation to allow the film to dry completely. A touch free car was is always better and less abrasive to your vehicle surface.
Q: CAN BODYFENCE PPF BE INSTALLED ON BOATS AND OTHER WATERCRAFT ?
A: Yes, while Bodyfence PPF can be installed on boats and other water craft. The warranty terms slightly differ.
Q: WILL REMOVING THE FILM HARM THE VEHICLES PAINT ONCE REMOVED ?
A: It is highly unlikely for paint protection film to harm OEM paint.
